What changed in Bentho
One entry a week, or every two when a week has little to tell. Each one splits into features, performance and fixes, and only lists what someone using Bentho would notice. Every line comes from a tagged release: nothing is written from memory.
Why we build it this way: read the manifesto

News, credits in plain sight, and a sturdier sign-in
Features
- News opens: a bilingual section with Bentho's presentation video, a comparison with Make and a guide to migrating from n8n.
- Credits in plain sight. The console counts usage in credits and tokens, the chat explains what happened when credits run out, and Pricing shows what a single credit buys.
- The hub adapts to how many spaces you have: one space gets a large featured card, two to four share a wall. Each space's bar shows only the modules that space uses.
- Pasting bentho.org into a chat or a social network now shows a proper preview card, with an image and a plain-language description.
- Sign-in slows down repeated failed attempts, and sessions can now be revoked.
Performance
- The presentation video in News starts downloading when you open the page, with the loading ball while it arrives, instead of making you wait after pressing play.
Fixes
- The external-provider breakdown in the usage console adds up every tier, not only the remote one.
- A mistyped address in the browser gets the site's own page instead of a raw JSON error.
- bentho.org no longer publishes the full API schema, which also listed internal routes.
- Stricter input validation across the API, with no change to any route or field.
The API, configured per space
Features
- Service keys (
bth_…) scoped to specific spaces, with read or write permission and revocation. The secret is shown once. - Each space decides whether its API is on, how many requests per second it accepts, its burst, its daily quota and which IPs may call it.
- The Cerebro's trust controls are configurable per space, each with the range it actually accepts.
- Every call is attributed to the key that made it, so usage can be read per key.
- An account's spaces share a single credit balance.
Fixes
- The IP allowlist compared against the proxy's internal address instead of your server's, so a list containing your IP could still reject you.
- Listing modules now requires a session.
- Service keys (
Pricing in plain language
Features
- Plans are explained in plain language, and each plan's technical sheet moves to a page of its own.
- The way back from a plan's page is visible, and jumping to it is no longer an abrupt cut.
Performance
- The loading curtain covers four entry points — home, pricing, spaces and profile — and lasts 500 ms.
Profile, settings and a smoother home page
Features
- Your profile is an avatar with a screen of its own, and settings for language and quality live inside it.
- The account screen shows usage and payment.
- The Studio is connected end to end: favourites, document searches, reports and statistics.
- Usage meters in the console, with a clear verdict on your quota.
Performance
- At «Complete» quality the home page draws every effect without stuttering.
- The home page animation runs on a single shared clock, and the pointer effects moved to CSS.
- The loading curtain no longer animates the network behind it, so it stops stealing frames from the page it is revealing.
Fixes
- The theme transition works in all three modes: the styles followed the system setting while the script followed your choice.
- «No animation» really switches CSS animations off.
- The home page's main button is visible in the light theme.
- The jellyfish behind Pricing stay sharp when the window moves to a screen with a different pixel density.
